Outstanding and full of locals

I am passionate about classical music and I was curious to visit the Conservatorio G. Verdi as it's one of the most important conservatories in the world. The Serate Musicali program is outstanding and the tickets are affordable. I enjoyed the concert and was excited to be surrounded by so many locals. It's an auditorium and not a theater therefore the hall is very simple but the music quality was great.

An Italian friend suggested that I attend a concert at Serate Musicali because it's known to host very high quality performances. I visited the Conservatory in the afternoon and spent some time in the library and the nearby basilica di Santa Maria della Passione. Amazing acoustics and very intimate location.
A real Milanese theater

The piano concert at Serate Musicali was the cherry on top of my Milanese experience. After visiting the landmarks of the city and doing some shopping, we ended our night with a fine concert at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi. The Conservatorio is a few minutes away from M1 San Babila and it was easy to find it. We were the only tourists, the location seems to be a hidden gem where you find only locals. I highly recommend this musical experience.
